They love to swim!

So I'm still trying to figure out posting these pictures. As you can see they look a little retarded as far as how they are placed. Either way, at least you can see some pictures from our lake trip.
I'll get it figured out at some point.

Paul got to go with daddy & papaw to put the boat in. Then he got to ride with just him & papaw to pick the rest of us up. He had so much fun!

Summer 2008 ~ Trip to Kentucky Lake

For those of you that don't know we have this "Harris Luck" as we call it that seems to strike at the worst times. Our trip started with an overnight stay in Madisonville, Ky with Scott's parents, aka Papaw & Nana Duncan. On the drive up we were noticing some problems with my vehicle & sure enough we started our vacation forking out a chunk of change to buy 2 new tires. So we got over that because we were ready to have a fun filled week at the lake. We had a great week...went boat riding, fishing, swimming, played putt putt golf & rode go carts! We had lots of fun family time. By the end of the week though "Harris Luck" struck again. Abby started not eating & was just not acting right. So our last day at the lake was spent trying to find a doctor that would see Abby. We had to drive to the next town over but thankfully these nice folks squeezed us in. Poor Abby was just pitiful looking...she felt miserable. Turns out she had strep throat but a very bad case of it. They gave her a shot & a prescription & by the next morning she was much better. All in all though, we had a nice trip!

Ballerina Abby!

Abby Elizabeth has been taking ballet since she was 3 years old! Above are pictures of her spring 2008 recital...Lights, Camera, Action...which was complete with the red carpet & her own Hollywood Star! She did fantastic & we are so proud of her! This fall she is taking ballet & TAP! She is so excited that she finally gets to take Tap. The pictures are of Abby with Nana Kay (our adopted Cleveland grandmother) & Abby with Liz (Abby's ballet teacher, our babysitter & friend)!

Our First Blog!

Well, I finally had a minute & thought I'd try this out! It may take me a little bit to figure everything out but I'll get it. Since we have so much family out-of-town I've been wanting to do a blog so that we have a central place for everyone to go to see what's going on with us. I'll do my best to keep it updated.
